The BEST and only free tour in town! Starting at the main square of Tomar, we will be greeted by its founder, D.Gualdim Pais. In his company, we will know more about the numerous symbols that hide around the square. Here, we will also have the opportunity to see the heritage left by King D. Manuel, including Saint John the Baptist Church, architectured in his own personal style. We will be on our way again, this time to enter the former Jews’ street and where we will go back to 15th century, to visit The Synagogue. A unique piece of Jewish history. Meanwhile let us observe the iconic corner windows, a symbol of once architecture. We will take a left to Levada Street where we will learn more about the old factories that took place there and the importance of the Nabão river to the city. Normally, we are in front of the statue, in the center of the square. We should be fairly easy to spot as we carry red umbrellas saying "FreeTour" and carry a identification plate on our chest as well.
