Saskatoon has a little-known rich paleontological history. In fact, it is one of only a handful of places in Canada that preserves Ice Age fossils of a certain age. I'll take you to places only known by the nerdiest of fossil scholars! :D

- Weir Parking (view of the historic and famous Saskatoon Weir)
- Ice Age glacial till exposure near CPR Bridge
- Historic fossil-bearing formation site and remains of Saskatoon Ski Jump

About the Guide
Hey travellers! I'm Graeme! I'm a newcomer to the beautiful city of Saskatoon, a place some call "The Paris of the Prairies." I'm currently studying to become a palaeontologist, and I've spent almost my whole life obsessed with all things fossil related. I've collected fossils in Ontario, Quebec, and Florida, and just like them, Saskatoon is rich with paleontological culture and history. I love sharing my passion with everyone, and I love seeing how a fossil-y touch can make even the most ordinary things, like building stones, into something extraordinary. I've volunteered with the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa and the Museum of Natural Sciences here in Saskatoon. I hope you'll leave Saskatoon filled with incredible memories and the knowledge of just how unique and fun my wonderful city is!
