About the Tour
While everyone will show you the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain or the Pantheon, we know that history is under every stone and behind every corner in our eternal city! For this reason, we strongly believe anyone deserves to see Rome as only a local does. Our Rome walking tour is for free because we believe that everyone visiting Rome have to enjoy and live its true culture. The tour includes: circus maximus, Aventino Hill, old cattle market by the mouth of Truth, marcellus Theatre, jewish district. Please read carefully the meeting point address. There are 2 circo Massimo metro exits, we are at the Laurentina direction One, near the soldiers. We have a tshirt or sign with our logo: Veni Vidi Visit.
About the Guide
VENI VIDI VISIT’s Rome Free Walking Tour is a pleasant walk among friends! Thanks to our expert local guides, you’ll learn, in a fun way, amazing facts about history, people and everything that made Rome so great. Starting from the ancient Chariot race stadium, we’ll visit the Aventine hill with its early-Christian churches, gardens, views and its unknown “city within a city“. Then we are off to the cattle market to meet the early Romans and how they evolved from a village to the biggest city the world has known. We will pass through the Theater of Marcellus to the Jewish district, the oldest in Europe, with its charming alleys and cobblestone streets… and there’s still much more to see!
