Panama Viejo: archaeology, stories and lost secrets

Do you know the history of Panama Viejo?
It was the capital of Castilla del Oro and the first Latin American city founded on the shores of the Pacific Ocean.
Today its ruins show something of what it was, but most of it is underground.

I know her very well, since I have studied her as an archaeologist and historian for many years.

Come with me to visit these important ruins. I will tell you about the history of each one, about its inhabitants and the contribution given by each culture to the society that was born here.

We will enjoy the past and take a walk among the ruins of one of the most important archaeological sites in Ibero-American history and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

(Between January and April, archaeological excavations are carried out on the site. If they coincide with the visit, I will also include them in the tour :D )
