About the Tour
Join Marrakech WITH Locals on this old city cultural, historical and touristic sightseeing tour. It is about exploring the secrets of the old city, best sights and local life in the fourth-largest city of Morocco. We will be walking inside and through the Medina's narrow alleyways and landmarks such as Koutoubia Mosque, Medina labyrinths, Jamaa Elfna Square, etc.
Go on this cultural journey exploring through the streets of Marrakech to the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque. Its height (67m tall) makes of the Mosque’ minaret a landmark for navigating the city. The mosque’s interior is not open to tourists, but you can still take a walk in its garden. As you walk around it, you will learn from much about its history and the 5 pillars of Islam, along with other religious matters. From here, we head and continue our exploring adventure by getting deep into the maze and labyrinths of Marrakech Medina. Salam Aleikom, Marrakech WITH Locals is a local tour guide service in Marrakech specialized in free walking tours, private customized tours and one-day trips from Marrakech. The founder of Marrakech WITH Locals, Ismail Hamzaoui, is from Marrakech, a licensed tour guide and host in Marrakech for guests aiming at exploring my city. I worked before in the Moroccan Pavillion in Epcot Center in Walt Disney World as a cultural representative for Morocco. I came back to Morocco in 2010 and started another adventure of guiding service. I can guide you and show you my city’s hidden spots, people, history, culture, touristic sights and local life.
