Explore Lusaka City - Free Walking Tour

How The Tour Goes Our meeting place and the starting point of our tour is Levy Junction Mall (or wherever is convenient to you). It's well known and one of the biggest malls around and it's located right in the center of town. From here, we go through the Central Business District (CBD). Next we head over to Cairo Road via Katondo, a famous street in town. Cairo road is a major road and one of the busiest in the city. It is characterized by business activity and social interaction. It accommodates major banks (including the Bank of Zambia), renowned hotels, the Main Post Office and the iconic Findeco House (which is the tallest and one of the oldest buildings in town). Our next stop is COMESA Headquarters. COMESA is a trading Bloc like NAFTA in North America or the EU in Europe. It comprises 19 member countries from eastern and southern Africa. I am Darius, and I have lived in Lusaka, Zambia for the most part of my life. I know the city very well and I can find my way around easily.
