Podil or Lower Town is famous for its extraordinary sightseeing points, proximity to the beautiful river of Dnieper and general exceptional atmosphere. This is the district with many lives - it was destroyed by floods, fires, enemies and planned to be demolished but it never disappeared. Also, there is Andriivs'kyi Descent (or Uzviz) nearby, so called the Montmartre of Kiev, just an amazing open-air market of arts and crafts, the place of authentic culture and history!
Starting from the European Square, we will go further to see such interesting spots as:
- The Friendship of Nations Arch and the National Philharmonic of Ukraine;
- The Nativity of Christ Church and Kiev Funicular;
- Poshtova Square and the area
